After a long search The Tea Experience is proud to add the work of John Webb.
John has being making pots for over 30 years in Cornwall and has real feel for the shape and balance of a teapot. They are beautifully constructed and designed and pour really well. We are very pleased John has agreed to work with us and we look forward to showcasing some of his beautiful work over the coming months.
We shall also continue to offer the work of York based ceramist Jane Schaffer.
Jane has a wealth of talent and experience built up thorugh her work at the Kurtis studio in Stockholm and as artist in residence in Shigaraki,Japan. These influences can be seen in the shapes and colours Jane chooses to work with.
Her work has been exhibited in London,Paris,Kyoto as well at various locations in the UK. She currently sells her work through galleries in the UK and beyond.
Jane has a real feel for the shape of teapots and each one that she makes for The Tea Experience will be unique and a thing both of beauty and practical use.
And finally it must said Jane makes a really good cup of tea so there is no wonder she makes good teapots too.
